The Project “NanoTB - Nanodiagnostics for XDRTB at point-of-need”, led by Pedro Viana Baptista (FCT/UNL) and Miguel Viveiros Bettencourt (IHMT/UNL), was the winner in the area of Life Science. This project aims the development and optimization of a tuberculosis’ molecular diagnostics system based on gold nanoparticles capable of being used in the desired location ("point-of-need “).
