The Master's Degree in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering (MEMN) is a multidisciplinary programme offering training in three main areas: Electronics, Biotechnology and Energy, combining engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, management and entrepreneurship.
Over two years, the MEMN prepares students for the forefront of innovation, exploring applied science and disruptive technologies such as transparent and/or flexible (opto)electronics, (nano)biosensors, solar cells and photonics, in clean rooms and various laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for nano/micro-scale manufacturing and advanced characterisation of materials and devices.
With the support of centres of research excellence and various partnerships with institutions and companies around the world, graduates of the Master's in Micro and Nanotechnologies are qualified for careers in cutting-edge sectors with high employability, such as (micro/nano)electronics, automation, mobility, aerospace, health and sustainable energy.
Taught in Portuguese and English, the programme attracts students of various nationalities who wish to transform their careers.
