The Academic Division performs all administrative procedures concerning the academic career of the Faculty's students.
It is also responsibility of the Academic Division:
a) To issue diplomas and academic certificates, diplomas and diploma supplements, where applicable, to all cycle students and to non-degree courses lecturers;
b) To develop and provide information and statistical data requested by the Faculty, Rectorate, DGES, DGEEC or other institutions concerning all levels of study and not-degree courses;
c) To ensure the publication in the Official Gazette of all regulations of study cycles, courses and alike, when approved by the Faculty.

Ensure all administrative procedures concerning the academic path of 2. Cycles, the Postgraduate Courses and Advanced Studies Diplomas students', namely:
a) To receive and instruct the application procedures for courses in which the Faculty has it liability is the Faculty;
b) To carry out the courses registration acts;
c) To organize and update the students’ individual file;
d) To ensure the information to students regarding all matters related to their academic career;
e) To organize the students’ registration process;
f) Guarantee the checking and control of the fees payment, including the management of special cases;
g) To receive, instruct and monitor the process of equivalence and curricula;
h) Check and make the registration of the academic record of students performed outside the Faculty;
i) To receive and instruct the extraordinary assessment demand, including the improvement of classification, the special season and separate examination;
j) To control the release of ratings by teachers;
k) Conduct all processes of public doctoral exams, including the preparation, the Secretariat and the preparation of minutes;
l) To maintain updated all the situations of course completion and the corresponding final grades;
m) To issue academic the requested certificates by students, including the course maps;
n) To receive, instruct and monitor the academic requirements of students;
o) Develop statistical maps that may be requested on academic data;
p) To receive and register into force annual plans and curriculum offerings.

g) To receive and instructthe requests of extraordinary evaluation, por example those of Ad hoc grade improvement;
h) Check and make the registration of the academic record of students performed outside the Faculty;
i) Verifying compliance with the curriculum prior to the act of graduating;
j ) Search periodically completion of course situations and corresponding final grades;
k) Prepare the academic certificates requested by students, including diplomas, diploma supplements and course cerificates;
l) To receive, instruct and monitor the academic requirements of students;
m) To receive and register annual plans and curriculum offerings into force;
n) To ensure the attendance of students, candidates, teachers and external entities, by telephone, electronically and in person.
