Students interested in undertaking this type of mobility should gather the necessary documentation (see below) for the formalization of the application and email it to the DMIE (div.mie.outgoing@fct.unl.pt) – Division of Mobility and Internationalization of Education, until December 02nd, 2025.
Applications for Traineeships that are already in progress will not be accepted.
Mobility length must be a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months.
Mobility must be completed by 31/07/2026.

Scholarships will be distributed based on the ranking resulting from the selection process and the funds allocated to FCT.
Students awarded a scholarship must check the amount granted when they are asked to sign the Erasmus contract (the student will receive an email regarding this matter).
Based on the planned mobility period, a scholarship will be awarded (when applicable). The student will receive 70% of this amount within 30 days after the contract is signed by the Rectorate.
The table below shows the monthly reference base amount (except for so-called “zero grants”) awarded for each full month. In the case of incomplete months, the amount corresponds to one full month minus 1/30 of the monthly amount for each missing day, rounded to the nearest unit:

GT - Green Travel: Travel in which most of the journey is made using low-emission means of transport, such as trains, buses or shared cars. This must be declared before the contract is issued with a Declaration of Commitment of Honor by the participant.
After the conclusion of the mobility, documents attesting to the fact that the travel was made using sustainable means (tickets, toll and fuel receipts, etc.) must be presented.
At the end of the mobility, according to the actually fulfilled mobility days (after submitting the declaration of stay and the Traineeship Certificate via platform, and having submitted the final report in the Mobility Tool), the student will receive (when applicable) the final balance of the scholarship, as per the following rules:

The results of the classification of applications and the awarding of scholarships will be disclosed to candidates, by email, during December 2025.
