Climate KIC Summer School at FCT NOVA

Climate-KIC organizes 8 Journeys throughout Europe and FCT NOVA participates in the organization of one of them. It will be the Journey6 (J6) in Climate Innovation, will have 5 weeks, taking place the first two at FCT NOVA (from July 2nd to 15th 2017), the 3rd and 4th weeks in Valencia (Spain) and the 5th in Wroclaw (Poland). It will bring together 40 students and professionals from around the world.

This Journey combines climate change knowledge with entrepreneurship, enabling participants, people with different backgrounds, to create a business model for a zero emissions economy.

Climate-KIC is an initiative that addresses the issue of climate change in Europe. It brings together players such as industry, public entities, universities and R & D centers in this area and focuses on low-carbon activities that meet the needs. It has the triangle of knowledge from training, education and entrepreneurship. They all have the same objective: not only to combat climate change effectively, but also to generate prosperity across Europe but have global impact.
