The Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the New University of Lisbon (FCT NOVA), the Municipality of Lourinhã and the Museum of Lourinhã, signed at the end of the morning of January 21 a cooperation protocol with the objective to create a workspace to promote the development of scientific research in the field of paleontology.
The “Espaço Nova Paleo”, located at the 1st floor of the Municipal Market, was inaugurated by FCT NOVA Dean, Professor Virgílio Cruz Machado, by the Mayor of Lourinhã, João Duarte de Carvalho, and by the Director of the GEAL - Museu of Lourinhã, Lubélia Gonçalves.
The event was attended by students and professors of FCT NOVA, researchers and also with the permanent councilors, Carla Custódio and João Serra, and the President of the Municipal Assembly, António Alberto Santos.
