On the International Women's Day, Ciência Viva launches the third edition of the book "Women in Science."
The NOVA School of Science and Technology researchers have been a frequent presence in this initiative that aims to honor women who work in the fields of science and engineering.
The new edition brings together more than a hundred portraits of researchers captured by the objectives of the photographers Clara Azevedo, José Carlos Carvalho, Luís Filipe Catarino, and Rita Carmo.
“From Biology to Mathematics, from Chemistry to Social Sciences, from Physics to Archeology, from Neuroscience to Geography, from Engineering to History, from Space Sciences to Philosophy, we compiled 101 success stories that have contributed vastly to the rooting of science in Portuguese society ”, explains a statement.
The launch session is scheduled for March 8, at 11 am, with live streaming on Youtube.
