Clara Judas Paiva, a student in the Agro-Industrial Technology undergraduate programme at NOVA FCT, is part of the Portuguese delegation competing at the 2025 FISU World University Games, taking place until 27 July in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.
She represents Portugal in Rhythmic Gymnastics, joining 82 student-athletes in what is the largest Portuguese delegation ever at this prestigious international event. This edition of the Games brings together around 8,500 participants from over 150 countries, across 18 sports.
Clara's participation highlights the talent and commitment of NOVA FCT students, who combine academic excellence with outstanding athletic achievement.
The Portuguese mission is led by Olympic silver medallist Patrícia Mamona, herself a former NOVA student. The goal is to surpass the country’s success in the previous edition held in Chengdu (2023), where Portugal claimed seven medals.
NOVA FCT wishes Clara Judas Paiva and the entire national delegation the very best in this major international university competition.
