Rui Mota, chef and former student of NOVA FCT, has been selected for the second season of “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking”. This international culinary competition, organized by Warner Bros. Discovery and Food Network, stands out for celebrating technique, creativity, and imagination, bringing together chefs from around the world in an environment inspired by the Harry Potter universe.
Having worked at seven Michelin-starred restaurants, including El Celler de Can Roca, The Fat Duck, ABaC, and L’Air du Temps, the alumnus of the Master’s in Gastronomic Sciences now embarks on the adventure of competing alongside 15 other participants.
This achievement reinforces NOVA FCT’s reputation as an institution that prepares its students to excel in international challenges, promoting creativity, technical rigor, and adaptability.
The program premieres in Portugal on November 3rd on Food Network.
