On November 15, NOVA FCT students once again demonstrated their sporting excellence at the National University Short Course Swimming Championship, as part of the NOVA team that achieved an impressive 3rd place overall.
Among the 15 NOVA swimmers, several NOVA FCT athletes stood out, notably Ema Conceição, who won 2 individual gold medals, 1 gold and 1 bronze in relay events, and set 2 new national university records in the 50m and 100m freestyle events. Gabriel Ferrão, Gonçalo Carvalho, Ítalo Araújo, Margarida António, and Miguel Almeida also contributed with excellent results and medals to the team.
These achievements reflect the talent, dedication, and competitive spirit of NOVA FCT students.
