Ana Luísa Custódio, Professor at the Department of Mathematics of NOVA FCT and coordinator of NOVA Math, has been elected Secretary of the Board of the SIAM Activity Group on Optimization for the 2026-2028 term.
SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) is a worldwide reference in applied mathematics and operations research. The Activity Group on Optimization is a prestigious international forum that promotes scientific exchange, industry collaboration, conference organization, and advancement of research in optimization.
