Depression Kristin: NOVA supports affected communities and students

In light of the devastation caused by Depression Kristin, NOVA University Lisbon is organising a series of actions to support local communities and students from the most affected regions.

NOVA is calling on its community to participate in the collection of essential goods for immediate consumption, namely non-perishable food and hygiene products.

Collection points (being updated)

• Canteen of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (FCSH);
• Canteen of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FCT);
• The Rectorate building; t
• The bar of the Alfredo de Sousa Residence Building (RAS)
• Reception of the Almada Negreiros College
• Reception ITQB NOVA
• Reception IHMT NOVA

To ensure that students in the affected areas can continue their academic life as normally as possible, NOVA is offering psychological support.
Students with scholarship status will be contacted directly by SASNOVA. All other students can contact the Human Development Office by email at gdh@unl.pt.

The Rectorate established contact with the “Mission Structure for the recovery of the affected areas” with a view to identifying initiatives in which NOVA could collaborate.
