NOVA FCT once again took part in Futurália, the country’s largest education, training, and employability fair, held at FIL from March 11 to 14, 2026. The School reaffirmed its status as a national reference in Science, Engineering, and Technology education and research. Over the four days of the fair, hundreds of students, families, and teachers visited the School's booth to learn more about its programmes and clarify questions about academic paths and career opportunities.

This year, NOVA FCT’s participation stood out with the introduction of two new Bachelor’s degrees: Aerospace Engineering and Data Analysis and Engineering. Both captured strong interest from visitors eager to explore emerging and highly technological fields. Many prospective students took the opportunity to talk with professors and current students, try hands-on activities, and understand how NOVA FCT’s training prepares them to tackle challenges such as digital transformation, space exploration, and advanced data analysis.

Pedro, 17, from Cascais, already has NOVA FCT as his first choice, even though he has not yet decided which course to pursue. He shared that he was familiar with the School and sees it as “a university with great influence.” He also praised “the welcoming environment and how I was received,” emphasizing that his interaction with students and professors “was very positive.” “I liked it so much that I’ve already registered for the EXPO to get to know the campus better,” he added.

Beyond undergraduate degrees, there was also strong interest in Master’s and Doctoral programmes, confirming NOVA FCT as a top choice for those who wish to deepen their knowledge, engage in research, and build a high-level scientific or technological career. The interaction with the academic community and the enthusiasm of the visitors highlight the School's commitment to inspiring future generations of scientists and engineers, aligning education, innovation, and employability.
