PhD student from NOVA FCT selected for the prestigious Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

20-03-2026

Frederico Duarte, PhD student in Sustainable Chemistry (PDQS) at NOVA FCT, has been selected to take part in the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, one of the most prestigious international scientific gatherings, bringing together Nobel Prize laureates and outstanding young researchers from around the world.

Every year, the meeting selects around 600 young scientists globally from thousands of candidates nominated by universities, academies of science, and research organisations. These participants have the opportunity to interact directly with Nobel laureates, attend lectures, panel discussions and scientific sessions, and build international collaboration networks.

Participation in this international meeting will allow the young researcher to join a global network of emerging scientists and contribute to the interdisciplinary scientific dialogue that characterises the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting.

The 2026 interdisciplinary edition will take place from 28 June to 3 July 2026 in the town of Lindau, on the shores of Lake Constance, on the border between Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
