NOVA FCT hosted yet another edition of the Talent Bootcamp, a career acceleration program that brings students closer to the business world. On April 23rd, the campus welcomed 184 bootcampers — 45% of whom from NOVA FCT — and 182 professionals from 120 companies, including 35 alumni of the Faculty.
In a single day of immersion, students and recruiters shared experiences, challenges and opportunities, in a dynamic format that continues to prove itself an effective bridge between academia and the job market.
Duarte Ribeiro, a final-year Master's student in Chemical Engineering at NOVA FCT and a recurring participant in the program, highlighted the relevance of the initiative at a decisive stage of his academic journey: "I think it is very important that the School promotes these kinds of events, which allow direct contact with industry."
The business perspective was equally positive. Ana Cristina Ribeiro, from Visteon Portuguesa, one of over a hundred company representatives present, emphasized: "It is a great opportunity to meet new talent, as well as to showcase the company."
The initiative, promoted by Magma Studio in partnership with NOVA FCT, reinforces the Faculty's commitment to building bridges between higher education and the business community, preparing its students for the challenges of the job market.
