NOVA FCT Highlights Faculty Excellence Through the FCT Awards 2026

On May 21, the NOVA FCT Student Association announced the winners of the FCT Awards 2026, an initiative aimed at recognizing and valuing faculty members who stood out throughout the 2025/2026 academic year for their dedication, closeness to students, and active contribution to the academic life of the School.

This year, the title of Professor of the Year was awarded for the third consecutive time to Cláudio Fernandes, from the Department of Mathematics, in recognition of his exceptional engagement with students and his impact on their academic journey.

In addition to the Professor of the Year, the following faculty members were also honored for their outstanding teaching work, marked by dedication and strong connections with students:
