NOVA FCT has 13 applications proposed for funding in the provisional results of the 8th edition of the Scientific Employment Stimulus – Individual Call (CEEC Individual).

Of the 103 applications submitted with NOVA FCT as host institution, 13 were proposed for funding. This corresponds to a provisional success rate of 12.6%. Of the selected applications, nine are in the Junior Researcher category and four in the Assistant Researcher category.

The results improve on the 7th edition of the call, in which eight NOVA FCT applications were proposed for funding. The success rate thus rises from 7.1% to 12.6%, close to the national rate of 13.5% recorded in this edition.

The applications now proposed for funding are linked to several R&D Units, reflecting the diversity of scientific fields at NOVA FCT. The growth in the Junior Researcher category stands out in particular, rising from four to nine applications proposed for funding.

These results reinforce NOVA FCT's ability to attract and host highly qualified researchers and to advance scientific research across different fields of knowledge.

The results announced are provisional and subject to the subsequent stages of the call.
