The researcher has authored more than 80 scientific papers and received the 2020 L'Oréal For Women in Science award and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowship.
According to the authors, this technology could be adjusted for the transport of other types of biomolecules, such as messenger RNA, used in COVID-19 vaccines.
