Prof. Carlos Lodeiro, from the Chemistry Department, BIOSCOPE Researche Group, UCIBIO-REQUIMTE, FCT-UNL awarded with the Excellence Prize in Poster Comunication presented at the 3rd Nanomedicine for Imagina and Treatment Conference , held at CEDARS SINAI

Professor Carlos Lodeiro from the BIOSCOPE Research Group, UCIBIO-REQUIMTE, FCT-UNL was awarded with the prize of Excelence in Poster Presentation, with the work entitle: Imaging Properties and Cytotoxicity studies in MCF-7 Human Breast Cancer Cells using a novel Quinoline Molecular Probe and the derived functionalized Gold Nanoparticles, fully published in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry.

The award was granted by the scientific committee of the 3rd Nanomedicine for Imaging and Treatment Conference (http://www.nanobiomed2015.org/) CEDARS SINAI Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, USA during the days 12-14 March by the hands of Prof. Eggehard Holler, Professor of Neurosurgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and Director of Drug Synthesis at Nanomedicine Research Center
