ToPAS, "Programming Tournament for Secondary School Students" is a programming contest for students of this education level with a special emphazis to the area of programming. This prestigious tournament, whose first edition took place in 2006, occurs for the first time in Lisbon - ToPAS Lx.
ToPAS will start at 9.00 am on Thursday, 6 May, at FCT NOVA Computer Science Department.
In this competition teams of three elements will be involved in a 4 hour programming test for the resolution of 6 to 7 problems, using a programming language (which may be chosen from C, C ++, to Java and Pascal). Each secondary school will be represented by two teams, each one consisting of 3 students.
The event, which will end at 18:00, will be held simultaneously in the Universities of Porto and Algarve.
