For the first time in Portugal, FCT NOVA organized the first two weeks of Journey6 (J6) - July 2 to 15, 2017 - with the Climate-KIC seal, in the Caparica Campus.
This period was quite intense in terms of learning, inspiration and development of business ideas. Other activities included the role played by the municipalities of Almada, Barreiro, Cascais and Lisbon, which joined J6, providing participants with real scenarios and experiences linked to the stakeholder perspective in the fight against carbon emissions.
In this sense, municipalities have recognized adaptation and mitigation efforts, as well as the involvement of citizens in the issue of climate change. The farewell sentiment was one of great gratitude for the bilateral exchange of experiences. Participants will be in Valencia, Spain for the 3rd and 4th weeks of J6, and will move on to the 5th week in Wroclaw, Poland, where they will end the presentation of their business model for a zero emissions economy.
