A grant is available for a short term (3 month) Project at CREM (Centro de Recursos Microbiológicos) concerning the elucidation of molecular aspects of sexual reproduction in red yeasts.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a degree in Biology or related, and a good knowledge of fungal biology, in particular basidiomycetes. In addition, the candidate should have previous experience in bioinformatics applied to comparative genomics and in molecular biology techniques. Experience in microscopy and micromanipulation is an advantage.
