The Ethics Committee NOVA School of Science and Technology (CENOVAFCT) is a technical and scientific independent consulting body for ethical and deontological matters arising from activities at NOVA FCT, within the scope of scientific research, teaching, University extension, and the general operations of the School.
Promoting reflection and contributing to the definition of guidelines, aiming at consolidating a policy that preserves ethical and deontological principles in the various areas of activity within the School, are structural elements of CENOVAFCT's mission. CENOVAFCT’s mission is based on main principles as the respect for the dignity of the human person and its promotion, within the framework of other principles defined in Articles 2 and 3 of the NOVA University Lisbon Statutes.
CENOVAFCT is composed of the following members:
