In the Department of Materials Science, more than 100 secondary school students from across the country participated in different activities like creating 3D structures or thermochromic mugs. On 15 July, the DCM also received the visit of the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. Doctor Manuel Heitor, and from the President of the “Ciência Viva” program, Dr. Rosalia Vargas.
The Department of Informatics, organized activities where students had the opportunity to learn software development techniques that allowed them to build a real game platform in a short time.
At the Department of Chemistry, students of 11 and 12 secondary school years had the opportunity to participate in various experiments such as making soap or an ice cream.
