Tender for exploratory research projects "UTAustin-Portugal Program - 2017"

The UTAustin-Portugal - 2017 Program aims to promote and finance exploratory scientific projects in the following areas:

Research of Emerging Technologies "Colab"

• Digital Contents;
• Advanced Computing;
• Mathematics;
• Nanotechnologies. 

Scientific areas defined in the context of the "AIR Center"

• Spatial Sciences;
• Clean Technology Energies;
• Environment, Atmospheric Sciences and Climate Change;
• Ocean Sciences;
• Data Science, Cyber Infrastructures and e-Science.

The total available funding is € 1,400,000, depending on the design of the proposal and 14 (fourteen) exploratory research projects are expected to be funded. Applications must be submitted to the Portuguese National Funding Agency for Science, Research and Technology (FCT) in English between 25 January, 17H00 (Lisbon time) and 23rd March 2017.
