The student Paulo Conceição hit this weekend the National University Record of High Jump with 2.17 meters, also winning the gold medal in the 60 meters barriers.
Also worth mentioning, is Gonçalo Casimiro's gold medal at 3,000 meters, Tiago Vieira's silver medal at 800 meters and the bronze medal of Rui Gominho at 3,000 meters.
The National University Indoor Track and Field Championships took place on March 5 in the city of Pombal. The team was made up of students coming from several Faculties, including André Simões, Emil Veloso, João Casegas, João Melo, Jorge Colaço, Marcos Estrela, Paulo Moreira, Ricardo Gomes, Telmo Barros, Tiago Gonçalves and Tiago Vieira from FCT NOVA. In the collective classification FCT NOVA won the 3rd place.
