On the 18th of March and 11th of April, following a public tender procedure, two contract signing ceremonies were held to promote faculty at NOVA School of Science and Technology.
On March 18, contracts were ratified with David Fernandes Semedo, who assumed the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics; with Ana Rita Fialho Grosso and with Vasco Temudo and Melo Cabral Barreto, both for the category of Assistant Professor at the Department of Life Sciences; with Telmo Jorge Gomes dos Santos, for the category of Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (DEMI); with João Pedro de Sousa Oliveira and with Rita Maria Mourão Salazar Branquinho, for the category of Assistant Professor at the Department of Materials Science.
On April 11, contracts were signed with DEMI professors, namely with António Carlos Bárbara Grilo, who became Full Professor; with Helena Maria Lourenço Carvalho Remígio, who was promoted to Associate Professor; with Aneesh Zutshe and Bruno Alexandre Rodrigues Simões Soares, who became Assistant Professor.
