Helena Navas, professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, was recently elected Vice-Coordinator of RIQUAL – the Quality Researchers Network. This election recognizes her academic and professional achievements in the fields of Quality, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement, as well as her active contribution to promoting collaborative research in this domain.
Helena Navas represents NOVA FCT on RIQUAL’s Coordinating Committee, strengthening the link between academia and excellence in quality management practices. She is a Lean Leader and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Manufacturing and also represents both the Portuguese Association for Quality (APQ) and NOVA FCT on several Technical Standardization Committees, particularly in the areas of Innovation and Project Management. She is also a member of the Scientific Council of the Portuguese Society of Metrology (SPMet).
RIQUAL is a scientific society that aims to promote knowledge, share best practices, and foster cooperation among researchers in the field of quality.
