The conference is organized by the European Consortium for Accreditation in higher education (ECA), it will take place in Madrid, on June 20th - 21st.

The main goal of "academia LX" prize is to select and reward research projects aiming to solve problems and chalenges facing Lisbon.
The Fellowship will have te duration of one year, starting on august 5th 2013, and will be renewable up to six years. Work place: Academic Division of FCT/UNL, inCampus de Caparica.
Luís Mendes finished Master degree in Mechanical Eng in 2012 under the supervisiono f Profs Rosa Miranda and Telmo Santos from DEMI working within the framework of a R&D Project funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia and the thesis was published by Lambert Academic Publishing-Berlim, entitled “Production of Al based composites reinforced with embedded NiTi by Friction Stir Welding”.
