In this master's degree, Technologies for the Conversion of Biomass into Bioenergy, Biofuels, and Biomaterials are taught in an integrated manner, following a Biorefinery strategy. The approach is complemented with topics related to the Treatment and Valorization of Effluents and Waste, including technologies for the Capture, Storage, and Utilization of CO₂ as fundamental tools for promoting the Circular Economy.
The Master's in Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies combines technical-scientific skills that enable the student to act in sustainable energy production fields and to develop new approaches to priority issues in Sustainable Development, which include industrial activity areas expected to grow in the coming decades.
These scholarships, worth 450 euros, are available to all students from the School or other Higher Education Institutions who are applying for the first time to the first year of a Master’s programme at NOVA FCT and have a final undergraduate grade of 15 or higher.
Applicants who enroll by September 30, 2025, and meet the eligibility criteria are automatically considered for this Scholarship. The results will be announced in October.
