The Master's in Mathematics and Applications combines scientific research with a diverse range of topics in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics.
Its goal is to provide a solid scientific foundation with a high level of interdisciplinarity, empowering professionals with the latest mathematical techniques used to solve problems.
The Master's in Mathematics and Applications offers three profiles:
This specialization provides solid and up-to-date training in Statistics and Operations Research.
These are essential areas of Mathematics for handling and transforming the increasing volume of data generated by technological advancements into useful information and for integrating this information into process optimization.
These scholarships, worth 450 euros, are available to all students who:
a) Are applying, for the first time to the first year of a Master’s degree at NOVA FCT;
b) Have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a final grade equal to or higher than 15 (out of 20);
c) Have completed their Bachelor’s degree at a higher education institution in Portugal or in another Member State of the European Union.
The results will be announced in November 2026.
