The Researcher Ricardo Madeira do Castro from UNINOVA’s Technologies and Systems Center (CTS) and the Professors teachers João Pedro Oliveira and Nuno Paulino from FCT NOVA’s Electrical Engineering Department (DEE) awarded the 2016 PRIME Bronze Leaf Award for the article entitled "Multi-cell SC DC-DC Converter with Power Aware Output Ripple Reduction" in the "12th Conference on PhD Research in Microelectronics and Electronics" which took place between last 27 and 30 June 2016 in Lisbon (http://prime2016.lx.it.pt).
This article describes a DC-DC implemented with switched capacitor conversion circuit using a variation of the output voltage reduction technique. This research is contextualized in the project H2020 PROTEUS (http://www.proteus-sensor.eu/) financed by the EU.
