VULCANO, which celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2017, as well as the Faculty of Science and Technology of the NOVA University of Lisbon (FCT NOVA), will establish on March 22nd, a partnership with FCT NOVA to award a study scholarship to the best student of the curricular unit of "Energy and Climate Change" of the Integrated Master Degree in Environmental Engineering in the academic year 2017/2018.
The scholarship, in the amount of 700 Euros, will be awarded to the student with the best overall grade in the course and the student's qualification process will be carried out by the Professors Júlia Seixas and Joanaz de Melo. The session will take place in the Library’s Auditorium from 2:00 p.m.
The selection of this curricular unit for the award of this prize is related to the importance that the environmental theme has been deserving in recent years, in particular for Vulcano. Environmental concerns and consumption reductions are a constant concern , and all the work done in the area of Research and Development is to create innovative products that ensure the best levels of energy efficiency.
