The NOVA Science Day will take place on December 15th at the Rectorate of NOVA.
This fifth edition aims to promote leadership in research, the role of Associated Laboratories and the main challenges related to raising funding for research activities.
During the afternoon we will hear the testimony of a panel of ERC grant holders from NOVA, with projects in diverse areas, moderated by the ERC National Contact Point, Rui Munhá. We will also have the participation of researchers with projects funded by other international mechanisms, in a panel moderated by Mafalda Dourado, Coordinator of NCP, at the National Innovation Agency. It will also be an opportunity to learn more about the three Associated Laboratories led by NOVA - LS4Future, i3N and REAL.
The event, which will be attended by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunato, aims to stimulate debate and promote the sharing of experiences among researchers. As in previous editions, the Santander NOVA Collaborative Research Award will also be delivered.
