Edgar Coimbra, a PhD student from the Department of Materials Science at NOVA FCT, was awarded the Best Poster Award at the Materiais 2025 Conference.
The winning poster, entitled "PAPEROVSKITE: Breaking the Barriers for Perovskite Solar Cells on Paper", stood out among the submissions, reflecting the innovative nature and scientific excellence of the research developed within the department.
The Materiais 2025 Conference took place from July 1st to 3rd, at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, gathering over 300 participants and highlighting the vitality and diversity of the Portuguese materials science community.
