Hugo Serra, João Pedro Oliveira, and João Goes — researchers at CTS-UNINOVA and faculty members of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NOVA FCT — were awarded the Best Paper Award at the 32nd International Conference on Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems (MIXDES 2025), held on June 26–27 in Szczecin, Poland.
The award-winning paper, entitled "Optimum Design of a Mostly-Digital Fleischer-Laker Switched-Capacitor Bilinear Bandpass Filter in Standard CMOS Technology", presents an innovative approach to the development of switched-capacitor filters with high energy efficiency, tailored to advanced high-density CMOS integrated circuit technologies.
This recognition highlights the excellence of the research conducted at NOVA FCT and CTS-UNINOVA, and reinforces their position at the forefront of low-power electronics and integrated circuit design.
