The focus of my presentation will be on policies for reducing GHG emissions and oil or natural gas, in favor of renewables. Emphasis will give to cost-effectiveness and overall effectiveness. Topics such as cover cap and trade, carbon taxes, energy subsidies, renewable portfolio standards, feed-in tariffs, production tax credits, oil taxes, gasoline/diesel taxes, fuel economy standards, and the issues associated with the energy will be considered.
