It was held on the 24th and 25th November the International Meeting of Sociology (ISSOW), organized by the Portuguese Association of Professionals in Industrial Sociology, Organizations and Labor (APSIOT), association presided by Professor Paula Urze, Professor at the Department of Applied Social Sciences (DCSA) and Researcher of the Interuniversity Center of Sciences and Technology is taking place at FCT NOVA.
The opening session, held in the Library Auditorium, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Professor Fernando Santana, as well as by the President of DCSA, Professor Maria Paula Diogo, the President of the Organizing Committee, Professor Maria Manuel Serrano of the University of Évora and the President of the Portuguese Sociological Association, Professor João Teixeira Lopes, as well as, of course, the President of APSIOT.
The Conference had 13 sessions, which take place on two days and in parallel, with the presence of national and foreign researchers and, in particular, the teachers of the DCSA, Professors Doutor António Brandão Moniz, Mariana Gaio Alves and Paula Urze.
