The awards ceremony was held on 1st February for the best students who entered the Bachelor Degree in Applied Chemistry in the academic year 2015/16, in a partnership between the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ) and FCT NOVA .
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of SPQ, Professor Adelino Galvão, the Dean and Deputy Directors of FCT NOVA, and by the students, the winners and their families and friends.
Diogo Costa was the student who, in 2015/16, entered with the best grade, having witnessed in this Ceremony the reasons that led him to choose the Degree in Applied Chemistry "All this freedom and the variety of possibilities of work in chemistry captivated me; the analysis of the curriculum and prestige of the Faculty, as well as the existence of the so-called Interim Period, made me choose the Bachelor Degree in Applied Chemistry and FCT NOVA. After a year and a half I do not regret it. I want to continue studying Chemistry and to advance in my academic course ".
