The NOVA School of Science and Technology is proudly part of  the longest, most lively and anticipated night of science! This year's edition of the European Researchers' Night is scheduled for September 27 at the National Museum of Natural History and Science at the University of Lisbon and at the Principe Real Garden, and has more than 20 activities organized by researchers from the Caparica campus.

In total, the program offers more than 100 initiatives that invite the public to see the scientists and their work in person and even encourages to participate in amazing experiments. Subordinated to the theme "Science in the City" with the sub-theme "Preservation of Cultural Heritage", this year's activities highlight the role of science in the quality of life in cities in the coming decades.

The NOVA School of Science and Technology is once more member of the consortium coordinated by the National Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Lisbon. In total there are ten institutions associated to the consortium.

The European Researchers’ Night is an initiative funded by the European Commission under the Marie Curie Actions and aims to bring science closer to the citizens.
