Charles Royal Johnson in the 2nd session of the NOVA Online Distinguished Lecture Series on Mathematics

Charles Royal Johnson, an influent and awarded mathematician in the field of Linear Algebra, is the guest speaker in the second session of the NOVA Online Distinguished Lecture Series on Mathematics.

The mathematician will present the lecture “Topics on the Nonnegative Inverse Eigenvalue Problem” on February 26, at 2:00 pm, on this link.

Author or co-author of more than a dozen books and three hundred papers in prestigious specialized journals, the books "Matrix Analysis” and “Topics in Matrix Analysis”, co-written with Roger Horn, stand out as standard texts in Advanced Linear Algebra. Specialized in this field, he is a Class of 1961 Professor at the College of William and Mary, Virginia, USA.

The Distinguished Lecture Series on Mathematics, organized by the Department of Mathematics and the Center of Mathematics and Applications at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, aims to present the leading scientists in this area, from all over the world, promoting inspiration for students and researchers.
