Ana Filipa Santos, Master in Micro and Nanotechnologies Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology , was crowned champion at the doubles competition in the W15 Cancun, a Mexican tournament, included in the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour.
This is the athlete's first career title on the international circuit, taking the place alongside Sweden's Jacqueline Cabaj Awad.
In 2019, the alumna already won the runner-up title in the Lousada Indoor Open II alongside Spanish Almudena Sanz-Llaneza Fernandez. Ana Filipa Santos played a significant role in the various achievements of the NOVA tennis team.
