European projects presented at NOVA School of Science and Technology

On April 28th and 29th, NOVA School of Science and Technology hosts at the UNINOVA’s auditorium the “Transferable Research and Laboratory Outcomes Event” which brings together projects funded by the European programs H2020 and Erasmus+.

During the two days, the results of more than 19 research projects will be presented and discussed and the challenges ahead will be debated. The initiative will also promote demonstrations of H2020 projects led by UNINOVA and ERASMUS+ by NOVA School of Science and Technology, e.g., Smart4health (platform for the digitalization of health) and Inedit (smart kitchen furniture).

The presentations are grouped into seven thematic sessions: “Industry 4.0 Technology Demonstration”, “Blockchain technology in use for certification”, “Industry 4.0 Learning Centers”, “Transversal Competences and Services in supporting DIH”, “Smartification Solutions and Cyber Physical Systems Experimentations ” and “Personalised Training Approaches”.
The event brings together deans and researchers from European, South American and African universities. This event brings rectors, deans and researchers from European, South American and African Universities.

Erasmus+ is the European program that supports education, training, youth and sport, promoting exchanges between higher education institutions. The 2021-2027 program places a particular emphasis on social inclusion, ecological and digital transitions and promoting youth participation in democratic life.

Horizon 2020 was the EU's research and innovation funding programme from 2014-2020 with a budget of nearly €80 billion.
