Three students from NOVA FCT were part of the NOVA University team that secured 3rd place on the podium at the National University Triathlon Championship, held at Marina da Ribeira in Peniche.
Maria Biga, João Silva, and Bernardo Magina, all NOVA FCT students, along with Vera Vilaça, represented the university in a demanding course consisting of 550 meters of swimming, 19.3 kilometers of cycling, and 5 kilometers of running.
For Maria Biga and João Silva, this was their first participation in a triathlon — a challenge met with great determination, team spirit, and endurance. Bernardo Magina once again demonstrated his grit and dedication to university sports.
Our student-athletes showed strong commitment, resilience, and academic spirit, representing NOVA and NOVA FCT with distinction in the competition.
