The "Social NOS" is a proposal that includes a new social chat-TV system that integrates new features to gage viewers feedback and new paradigms of multi screen interaction. This system is integrated with a show popularity analysis program.
Filipa Peleja will also have the opportunity to do a 6 month internship in NOS, with Microsoft specific training, implementing her idea in the current company platforms
Filipa Peleja is a PhD student in the Multimodal Systems group, NOVA LINCS / CITI, where she conducts research in the context of the IMTv project, coordinated by Professor João Magalhães. The project IMTv is led by CITI/DI FCT UNL, and partners with INESC -Porto, Universidade de Lisboa - FCUL, the University of Texas at Austin, ZON Multimedia (now NOS), Duvideo, RTP, and FCCN.
