FCT NOVA student returns to beat National University Record

he FCT NOVA Student, Paulo Conceição, once again beat the National High School Record (RNU) of High Jump, passing his mark of 2.10 meters to 2.15 meters in the National Open Air Track Athletics Championship held on May 14, 2017 in Faro. NOVA was present with an athletic team with 28 students / athletes, the biggest team ever. The students were as follows:

This team reached the 3rd place in the collective classification, through the various results of the students, however, we must highlight the won medals:

  • Bronze Medal of André Costa in the 100m plans
  • Silver medal of Rui Gominho in the 3,000m obstacles
  • Silver Medal of Raquel Lourenco in Salto in length
  • Gold Medal of Gonçalo Casimiro at 1,500m
  • Gold Medal of Jorge Colaço in the 400m
  • Silver Medal in the triple jump and Gold Medal in the Jump in Height of Paulo Conceição, with RNU
