Andrew Livingston, world-renowned Chemist, will be at NOVA School of Science and Technology on October 22nd

Andrew Livingston, Professor of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, will be at NOVA School of Science and Technology with the lecture “Molecular Separations in Organic Solvents, and the Quest for Perfect Polymers”. The renowned chemist will also be honored with the Honoris Causa Doctoral Ceremony taking place at NOVA's Rectory.

The chemical engineer is world-renowned for creating new technology platforms for manufacturing chemicals and (bio)pharmaceuticals and has 35 patents submitted. Pioneer in membrane separation technologies, he was awarded with the Underwood Medal (2016) by the Institute of Chemical Engineers.

The lecture will take place at the NOVA School of Science and Technology Library Auditorium, at 12:00 pm on October 22nd. The Honoris Causa Doctoral Ceremony will be held on October 21, at 5 pm, in the Rectory Auditorium, Campolide campus.
