October 10th is the Mathematical Biology Day and, once again, NOVA School of Science and Technology , through the Department of Mathematics (DM), joins this celebration in order to promote this promising area of research to students and to the entire scientific community.
This year's program includes a conference by Ruy Ribeiro, researcher at the Biomathematics Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and a member of the Center for Evolutionary Theoretical Immunology in Los Alamos, USA. The day also provides a workshop led by Regina Bispo, professor of DM and researcher at the Center of Mathematics and Applications (CMA) of NOVA School of Science and Technology.
