NOVA School of Science and Technology received the Partner Award from APCAS - Almada Seixal Cerebral Paralysis Association, in recognition of the collaboration developed between the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and this association.
This collaboration has allowed the adaptation of common toys, enabling children with motor impairment to enjoy them. The site http://sites.uninova.pt/brinca/ is a repository of the adaptations made.
The prize was presented during the APCAS Gala, which took place on December 7th at the Amora Secondary School.
