On September 17th, the NOVA School of Science and Technology and Universidade Aberta (UAb) signed a protocol that ensures close cooperation between the two institutions in promoting distance learning.
The agreement guarantees the sharing of significant knowledge to develop activities and initiatives that respond to the needs of society. In that context, the two Schools intend to streamline and modernize distance learning, one of NOVA School of Science and Technology's academic projects, using the accumulated know-how of the two institutions and research work in this area.
Among the planned partnership actions are joint resources for an e-learning regime and in a shared teaching regime (b-learning), the collaboration of UAb in specific and identity courses for the NOVA School of Science and Technology and new training offers within the scope of lifelong learning.
